School Development Priorities
The school development plan is based on underlying values and principles and is a means of moving closer towards the achievement of the school’s vision.
Current priorities are:-
To continue raising the rates of progress and the standards in reading, writing and maths for all pupils, including those who are disadvantaged
· To provide High Quality Teaching of Reading across the school.
· To develop effective and consistent approaches to the teaching of spelling across the school
· To maximise the curriculum ensuring that it is vibrant, enlivening and memorable.
· To embed and review the new EYFS curriculum and baseline procedures
To support the emotional wellbeing and mental health of all members of the school community through the introduction of a Trauma Perceptive Practice Approaches
We are continually self evaluating to ensure we are fully meeting the needs of our children. In doing so, we set ourselves priorities which we use to focus our school development.
