Admissions Arrangements Consultation Academic Year 2027/28
Grove Wood Primary School is proposing to make changes to its Admission Arrangements for the Academic Year 2027/28.
A copy of the proposed admissions arrangements can be found below, which includes a change in our over-subscription criteria.
The statutory minimum consultation period is open for six weeks and begins on Thursday 23rd October until Friday 5th December 2025.

The consultation will close at 5 p.m. on Friday 5th December 2025. Please note that any responses should include the sender's personal details, including name, address and relationship to Grove Wood Primary School. At the end of the consultation period, responses will be passed to the Governing Body for discussion and approval.
Grove Wood Primary adopts Essex Local Authority policies for all its Human Resources management, its Health and Safety management and key statutory functions. These policies are copyright to Essex County Council and so are not available to read online.
There are also school policies which are streamlined by the school and are ratified by the Governing Body annually. These policies direct the local management of the school and fall into two categories; those that are local responses to statutory requirements and those that focus around Grove Wood's individual needs.
